The HENKADA JUDO CLUB was started in 1958 training from a garage in River Road,
Hamilton. The founder was a Mr. Henk Franken, a Dutch immigrant to New Zealand,
hence the name "Henk"ada, the way of Henk.
The club is run by a committee of interested players and parents. Over the years
the club has produced many black belts and players who have been NZ
representatives.
Our Dojo (training hall) is at the Hamilton Old Boys RFC. Entrance off
